DIGITAL DEEDS

Faster timelines, remote execution, guaranteed security.

A personal drive for innovation and my work with the IT Commission of the National Council of Notaries have led me to digitalise and streamline the processes within my notarial practice.

My office in Alba was among the first in the Province of Cuneo to enable the signing of deeds using a digital signature through a graphometric signature – a technology that ensures a secure, one-to-one connection between the biometric data and the signatory. This service continues to be available today in my Milan office.

Anyone can now sign a digital deed with full security, improving the quality of service and allowing for instant delivery of digital copies – without the need for physical travel or the delays of sending and receiving paper documents.

All deeds I execute are also available in two languages for international clients.

What deeds can be digitized?

1. Digital Power of Attorney

Thanks to digital signatures, it is possible to sign a power of attorney with your notary and deliver it in real time to the interested parties. The document is prepared, created, authenticated, and transmitted by the notary through specialized software, ensuring full cybersecurity, significantly reducing the time required for the deed, and eliminating the need for the client to travel from their place of residence.

2. Digital deed with double authentication

Double authentication is primarily used to speed up remote sale and purchase deeds, without the seller and buyer needing to be in the same location. The seller signs the deed prepared by the notary on a grafometric tablet and sends it to the buyer's notary, who, after the client's signature, formally records the deed.

The digital deed with double authentication is stored within the Norm Preservation System, which can be accessed at any time through the notary, who can, if necessary, make digital copies of it.

3. Remote Shareholders’ Meeting Minutes

The notary records the decisions made by the shareholders during a telematic meeting, without requiring their simultaneous presence in the same place. The notary can also attend the meeting via video conference: they record decisions and resolutions, share the minutes with the interested parties, sign the document, and keep everything at their office.
